Villa description
Nestled hillside at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac amongst specimen trees and tropical planting, Villa Diamante consists of three pavilions separated by a spacious sun deck and octagonal pool overlooking Sir Francis Drake Channel. This artist's hideaway offers charm and total seclusion. The main pavilion houses the living room and a kitchen area, separated by Mexican wooden screens, and a powder room is just around the corner. On the other side of the pavilion is a romantic covered lanai for alfresco dining. This main pavilion is bordered by a covered verandah on the pool side set with comfy overstuffed chairs & sofas, just perfect for sinking into with that good book and a cold cocktail. Across the pool deck is Villa Diamante's second pavilion, built on two levels and adorned with colourful tropical plants. The deck level offers the king master suite with its polished hardwood floor and its inventive decor enhanced by collections of seashells, antique pieces and sumptuous textures and fabrics. The queen bedroom/bath suite is just above. Stairs lead from the pool deck to the third bedroom/bath pavilion below with its own private deck. All suites offer incredible 180-degree ocean views and cooling trade winds. You'll find this relaxed and private villa the ideal place to just watch yachts sail by. |

Trudi's personal opinion A truly wonderful, romantic hideaway for lovers of every age. Owned by an Italian, Villa Diamante has a distinct Mediterranean flavour and you'd be forgiven for thinking you're in the Tuscan hills. Very private with magnificent views overlooking St John to the west and Salt, Cooper & Ginger Islands to the east, Villa Diamante is the perfect villa for both couples and families alike that just want to get away from it all. Reviews of Villa Diamante Diamante Villa is a lovely, charming place to stay on Tortola. Well located over the Nanny Cay Marina with an amazing view on the channel. Really well decorated, which gives a relaxing atmosphere in a quiet surrounding. I would rate the villa overall as 8/10. It was clean and well equipped but I would recommend adding air conditioning in the upstairs Blue Bedroom. The villa met our expectations. The booking process with Best of BVI was excellent. | All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 7 nights is required during high season and 5 nights during low season for the majority of villas. A 10-14 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa. The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax. Information about specific villa rentals listed on this website is subject to change at any time. |
