Villa description
Villa 6 is one of seven villas near the end of a quiet lane near the entrance to the prestigious Belmont Estate. The villas are close to each other but are staggered and multi-storied for privacy. Villa 6 has 3 bedrooms, all overlooking the beautiful palm grove that hugs the fabulous mile-long beach at Long Bay just 3 minutes walk away! The villa has a Mediterranean feel with its open-plan, split-level living areas, painted in a fresh white with Sausilito tiles and wooden floors throughout. Large original art works, painted by one of the artistically-gifted owners, decorate many of the walls. Surrounded by mature gardens there is colour and a tropical scent all around with jasmine, bougainvillea, frangipani, fruit trees and more. Entering the villa, the open-plan design offers a comfortable office area to the left and a full kitchen to the right with a dining table with seating for 6. Steps lead down into the living room where the high cathedral ceilings keep the space cool. Comfortable sofas and chairs provide a relaxing spot to read, chat, play a game or watch TV. Two sets of French doors offer access to the wooden deck, where there is ample seating for everyone with a built-in bench, a circular table and chairs which offer some shade beneath a large umbrella, and two large comfortable chairs with foot rests for those looking for a tan! There is also a Weber charcoal grill. The first bedroom is accessed up a few steps from the hallway. It offers a king bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and a balcony where you can open the doors to invite in the cool breezes. The second bedroom is located off the living room and offers a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and direct access to the deck. The third bedroom, with 2 twins, offers the privacy and convenience of a studio with it's own screened-in porch, it is accessed by exterior steps down one side of the villa and has its own small deck area. All bedrooms benefit from being air conditioned. |

Trudi's personal opinion If you're looking for an affordable Tortola property within easy walking distance of the beach, then Villa 6 is well worth thinking about. The house isn’t overly fancy, but is comfortable, reassuringly clean and certainly well priced, whether you are a couple or a party of up to six guests. Although situated next to several other properties, it's generally a peaceful area, and ideal to use as a base from which to explore the nearby beaches at Long Bay and Smuggler’s Cove, as well as Tortola's West End. My favourite place is the verandah – a lovely spot to sit quietly sipping a cocktail watching the sun set over the palm grove after another wonderful day in the BVI! |

| All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 7 nights is required during high season and 5 nights during low season for the majority of villas. A 10-14 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa. The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax. Information about specific villa rentals listed on this website is subject to change at any time. |
