Villa description
New to the rental market, Lantana is a light and wonderfully airy three-bedroom family home located on Tortola’s southern coast. The two-storey villa is less than 100 feet above sea level, and is conveniently located. It’s a mere 10-minute drive to the stores and restaurants in Road Town, yet still only 10–15 minutes’ drive from the white sands on the north shore beaches. The man-made beach at Brandywine Bay is only a few minutes away, as is renowned Brandywine Restaurant. The living accommodation on the lower level consists of a spacious living and dining room, a kitchen, an office, and not least a convenient cloakroom. The living room, with its high cathedral ceiling, is comfortably furnished with a cream sofa and cushioned sea-grass armchairs. To one side of this room is a large glass dining table seating up to six guests. The living room provides a relaxing area for watching TV, reading, or listening to music, especially after a busy day exploring the islands. Multiple sets of glazed French doors not only let in plenty of light but also open wide to the wraparound verandah and glorious views of Road Harbour and the Sir Francis Drake Channel. A circular teak patio table and chairs offer the chance of alfresco dining on the verandah. The combined kitchen and breakfast room is well equipped with stainless-steel appliances and plenty of work space, and also enjoys ocean views. All three bedrooms are situated on the upper floor, and are attractively decorated and furnished with some top-quality pieces of furniture. The master bedroom is particularly inviting, with French doors opening out to a balcony with views of both the pool below and the ocean. This bedroom has a modern en suite bathroom and an extra-large walk-in closet. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a full-size tub and an overhead shower, the former offering some stunning ocean views even while you are lying back and relaxing in it. Outside, Lantana has a good-size private pool and Jacuzzi bordered by a wide deck, and set in mature gardens of swaying palms and vibrant tropical flowering plants. |

Trudi's personal opinion Lantana, named after the tropical plant you’ll find in the grounds – for the keen gardeners among you, it’s a member of the verbena family – is a well-maintained and very comfortable home. It has just about everything you could possibly want to make your stay enjoyable. Furnished to a high standard throughout, and spotlessly clean, the villa is both spacious and I think ideal for families, especially as all three bedrooms are on the same floor and close to each other. I can imagine lots of fun and games to be enjoyed by all the family in and around the pool. I especially like the views from Lantana – the house overlooks the entrance to Road Harbour, so there’s always yachts sailing by, or the ferry travelling between Tortola and Virgin Gorda, as well as the outlying islands in the distance. Lantana is a beautiful home, finished and furnished to a good standard, and perfect for relaxing or having fun with the family. I would also recommend this villa to couples looking for good-quality accommodation at affordable prices. |

| All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 7 nights is required during high season and 5 nights during low season for the majority of villas. A 10-14 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa. The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax. Information about specific villa rentals listed on this website is subject to change at any time. |
