Villa description
Situated within walking distance of a small beach, shops, restaurants and bars at Nanny Cay and within 15 mins' drive to the beaches along the north shore, Callalou offers spacious accommodation surrounded by large grounds with views of the marina. A gated entrance from the south coast road leads to this conveniently located 2-bed property. The villa consists of an open-plan well-equipped kitchen and large living/dining area along with two bedrooms and bathroom. Sliding doors span one side of the living room and open to a patio area beyond, suitable for alfresco dining. A separate utility room adjacent to the kitchen houses a washer and dryer for guests' use as well as additional bathroom facilities. The master bedroom boasts two queen beds with views from the window overlooking the grounds and the marina beyond. The twin-bedroom also overlooks the gardens and offers a fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. The bathroom is positioned between both bedrooms and has shower, WC and basin. Outside, Callalou has some of the most impressive gardens with tropical flowering plants and palms trees dotted within extensive flat grounds. A colourful hedge separates the huge 50ft pool, with adjacent shady pergola, and grassed area. A short walk to the far end of the gardens brings you to the water's edge and Callalou's private dock.

Trudi's personal opinion
Callalou is an extremely affordable property for couples and families alike. I especially liked the impressive pool and beautiful grounds leading down to the water's edge. The villa can be used both as a base to explore the British Virgin Islands or to spend time relaxing around the pool with a good book. Make use of the villa's private dock, rent a dinghy and enjoy seeing the islands from a different perspective. Extremely well located to the West End, north-shore beaches and Road Town, the villa is within 5-15 mins' drive of a good variety of shops, restaurants, beaches and ferries.

Rental information
  • Rates are exclusive of 7% tax
  • Rates are based on two persons per bedroom
  • A 3-night minimum is required at Callalou, except during Christmas/New Year when a 10-night minimum is required
  • Personal laundry can be arranged by housekeeper at additional cost
  • Additional maid service can be arranged at extra cost
  • The on-island managers of Callalou live within the grounds. They use the driveway to access their own property but you can be assured of your privacy. Lucy, the owners' extremely friendly dog and Mr Mac, their cat, may stroll around the grounds. However, they will not disturb you unless, of course, you want them to!
  • Callalou is available between Nov-June

All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom. A minimum of 7 nights is required during high season and 5 nights during low season for the majority of villas. A 10-14 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa.
The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax.
