How to get to the BVI

DECIDE WHICH ISLAND AND WHICH VILLA:
This is where Best of BVI can help you. We have viewed all the villas personally and are extremely knowledgeable about the British Virgin Islands so will be able to answer any questions you may have about the properties or the area.

We will ask you many questions to make sure we're recommending the right villa for you. For example:

How many guests in your group?
Are there children in your group and, if so, what ages? Some villas require children to be over a certain age, some accept children with a notarised waiver, some villas do not accept children at all.
What time of year are you intending to visit the islands?
Do you want to be near the beaches/restaurants/shops?
Do you prefer to be in a certain area?
Do you have any must haves - A/C, private pool, large kitchen, etc?
Do you intend hiring a car?
Do you have a budget we need to work within?
We also like to get to know more about you and your family/friends. We can then 'feel' what villa is perfect for you. In our opinion this is the most important information you can provide.

We will then recommend a variety of villas to choose from based on your answers at no additional cost.

DEPOSIT:
Once you've decided on a private villa we will put it on 'hold' for a maximum period of 3 days. You will then be sent a contract, which will need to be signed and returned together with a deposit, which is usually 50% of the rental fee (see below for payment methods). The booking is not firm until we have received the signed contract and deposit.

BALANCE:
The balance of the villa rental fee is usually payable 60 days prior to your arrival date.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:
Payments may be made in pounds sterling or US dollars in the following ways:
(a) Personal cheque (UK only)
(b) Bank-to-bank or wire transfer
(c) Credit card, taken directly by the owner/manager of the villa (please note not all villas accept credit cards).
Exchange rates from US dollars to Pounds Sterling (if applicable) will be calculated at the exchange rate on the day of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation policies can vary slightly for each private villa. As a general rule, the following applies:
All cancellations and any request for changes to your reservation (such as date changes or changes in the number of guests) must be made in writing by email, mail or facsimile. For cancellations received outside 60 days prior to arrival 80% of your deposit is refunded. For cancellations received within 60 days prior to arrival 100% of the deposit or rental (whichever has been received) is forfeited. Should you have to cancel your reservation for any reason, we will make every effort to re-book the villa to another guest and 80% of your rental fee will be returned to you for the nights rebooked. In some cases, villa owners may be persuaded to allow you to rebook your villa at a later date, without penalty to you. Refunds due to last-minute reductions in the total headcount originally booked will only be considered on an individual basis when requested within 60 days of your arrival.
