Villa description
Nail Bay’s newest villa, Seaglass, sits 400 feet above sea level at the base of Gorda Peak and offers panoramic views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel and enjoys almost constant trade wind breezes. Designed and landscaped for privacy and relaxation, Seaglass consists of a two-bedroom, two-bath main house and a one-bedroom guest suite - Seaglass Studio, both fully furnished, each with its own separate pool, patio and grill. The two units can be rented separately or together. The main house has an open-concept living area with a bright and airy fully-equipped kitchen with custom bamboo cabinetry, glass-infused concrete countertops and breakfast bar, a spacious living room and dining area, and is the perfect space for entertaining. A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine, with a queen-sized futon for extra overnight guests, and an outdoor balcony, perfect for stargazing and taking in amazing sunsets and views of surrounding islands. The two bedrooms at Seaglass flank the Great Room and open directly onto the expansive patio with pool, lounge chairs, covered outdoor dining and tropical gardens; the master bedroom has a large, screened-in outdoor shower. Seaglass is the perfect setting for a truly rewarding and relaxing vacation, whether you spend it reading a great book by the pool, exploring the island’s many secluded beaches and other natural features or sampling local cuisine with friends and family. |

This brand-new villa is rather special – and remarkably affordable, too, for a property of this superior quality. Simple and elegant contemporary design, together with choice pieces of furniture and original artwork make this house totally unique, and undeniably pleasing to the eye. What’s more, Seaglass is a great choice for guests seeking a modern, upscale property close to the beach – it's only a five-minute drive to nearby Nail Bay and Mountain Trunk Bay for some wonderful swimming and snorkeling. The bedrooms are well spaced, on either side of the Great Room, making this an excellent choice for two couples, although it can be combined with nearby Seaglass Studio for up to six guests. My favourite place is without a doubt the mezzanine with its day bed, wraparound outside deck, and – I think – some of the most incredible ocean views you'll ever have the good fortune to see. It’s an amazing place, and highly recommended! |

Reviews of Seaglass Seaglass was excellent, the villa was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. The grounds were well cared for and the staff very hospitable. The housekeeper was good although, as there were only two of us, her services were not really required each day. The villa absolutely met our expectations and we have already recommended it to others. This was our eighth visit to the BVI and second to Nail Bay. We knew what to expect and that's why we returned. We were absolutely satisfied with using Best of BVI again, the booking process was easy. IL, Mar 2012 Seaglass was very high quality - 5 star - it was practically new, well outfitted with expensive products and touches. Facilities were top drawer although sorely lacking were beach chairs, which limits comfort at the various beaches. The manager was excellent, the villa exceeded our expectations and we would whole heartedly recommend it. We were very much satisfied again with Best of BVI. JH, Jan 2012 Seaglass was excellent in all regards - clean, well-equipped and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs aside from lack of beach chairs in the villa. Seaglass was an exceptional experience, the house itself was fantastic. Great Wi-fi, TV is satellite and sometimes tricky but you won't care. The views, the equipment and the staff who serviced the house were all top flight. The manager was outstanding and the housekeeper was excellent. You might find the isolated location up the hill a bit much but that turned out to be just great also; the driveway was thrilling to negotiate each day. Pack lightly and you won't pay baggage fees to airlines - you can easily make do on a carry on bag as the villa has a washer and dryer, which were a great plus. We loved the new restaurant at Nail Bay and ate there three times. A new restaurant, Hog's Heaven, is just up the road. Virgin Gorda is small but there's enough to keep you busy for 7-10 days or more. Life is good here. MH, Jan 2012 |

| All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 5 nights is required during high season and 3 nights during low season for the villas at Nail Bay. A 10 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa. The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax. Information about specific villa rentals listed on this website is subject to change at any time. |
