Villa description
Located hillside, but only 200 yards from one of Virgin Gorda's best beaches at Mahoe Bay, Satori I is essentially a four-bedroom villa consisting of two pavilions with an oval-shaped private pool between them. It offers spacious, comfortable and informal accommodation. And the views are absolutely incredible, overlooking the exquisite turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea to the front of the villa and the lush, green Gorda Peak mountain behind it. The Great Room, with its high vaulted wooden ceiling, contains the living area with cushioned wicker sofas and chairs, a formal dining area with seating for up to eight around the glass-topped table, and an adjacent kitchen with breakfast bar. Sliding patio doors to two walls open to the verandah to the front and the covered alfresco dining area, and to the pool to the side, with mesmerizing views of the ocean and the many islands in the distance. The main living pavilion houses two bedrooms on the upper level: a spacious king bedroom with balcony to the front of the villa, and a twin bedroom to the rear. Both of these bedrooms share a bathroom with walk-in shower. A third bedroom, on a lower level, is accessed by exterior steps. This bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, a sofa, a full bath and a convenient kitchenette. On the far side of the pool in its own pavilion, and thus offering excellent privacy, is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. This, too, enjoys ocean views from its private balcony. Surrounding the generous pool is the tiled deck with ample chaise lounges and BBQ. A useful wet bar with fridge, ice-maker and sink is at the rear of the deck. |

Trudi's personal opinion Quite privately situated, at one end of Mahoe Bay, Satori I is a great choice for friends or families seeking an affordable vacation in this desirable part of Virgin Gorda. Two adjacent bedrooms in the main pavilion make it ideal for families with younger children, but there’s also some space between them and the two further bedrooms for those guests who want a little extra privacy. Mahoe Bay can be an expensive area of Virgin Gorda in which to stay, mainly due to the beach's powder-white sand and the electrifying blues of the ocean. You'll probably experience here some of the best snorkeling and turtle-watching than on any other beach in the BVI due to its double reef system. It's also an exceptionally safe beach for swimming. And the icing on the cake is that Satori I is perfectly positioned to view glorious sunsets year round. |

| All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 7 nights is required during high season and 5 nights during low season for the majority of villas. A 10-14 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa.
