Villa description
Dramatically located above the Caribbean Sea, Island Spice treats guests to a memorable vacation. Spend casual hours on the villa’s long, spacious shaded deck with spectacular 180-degree vistas of the Sir Francis Drake Channel and the British Virgin Island chain. S. John, in the USVI, is visible on the far horizon. Enjoy an alfresco lunch while watching sailboats on the sea below. Pelicans, gulls and frigate birds frequently soar overhead. Take a nap in the hammock, and return for evening cocktails as the sun sets below the sea. Two equal-size bedroom/bathroom suites, furnished in island décor, flank the Great Room and can be accessed separately from the deck. All rooms offer panoramic ocean and garden views through large sliding windows and doors. Although Island Spice villa is surrounded by the green lush hillside and is exceptionally private, it is only a few minutes walk (or drive) to Nail Bay’s beautiful Mountain Trunk beach, a great swimming beach for adults and children alike – plus you’ll discover wonderful snorkeling. |

Trudi's personal opinion Island Spice is a gem; simply breathtaking. It begins the moment you enter the front door – the panoramic ocean views ahead of you might quite literally leave you speechless. And it has the right balance of everything else that you could possibly want. It’s superbly comfortable, well equipped, pristine throughout, private yet within walking distance of the beach – and they haven't forgot that all-important swaying hammock on the deck. The bedrooms, situated either side of the Great Room, are lovely, and both have good-size modern bathrooms. The new kitchen, to one side of the Great Room, has all the appliances you would expect from a superior-quality villa. It’s an ideal property for one or two couples, and also an excellent choice for guests celebrating their honeymoon. My favourite part of it? Actually, there are quite a few, but if I had to choose just one it would have to be the pool. Very inviting, and attractively surrounded by tropical trees and plants, and it really does make you feel like you're in a jungle. Highly recommended! |

Reviews of Island Spice Island Spice was clean, comfortable and attractive. The facilities were excellent but would suggest stocking with a few condiments and spices. The on-island manager and the housekeeper were excellent. The villa met our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to others. | All villa rental rates are quoted for 7 nights unless otherwise stated and are based on two persons per bedroom.
A minimum of 5 nights is required during high season and 3 nights during low season for the villas at Nail Bay. A 10 night minimum is required during Christmas/New Year depending on the villa. The weekly villa rental rates listed do not include 7% Government Tax. Information about specific villa rentals listed on this website is subject to change at any time. |
