Villa description
Situated in Leverick Bay on Virgin Gorda, the recently renovated Euphoria villa is a spacious and attractive four-bedroom vacation property offering some genuinely spectacular panoramic views of the North Sound and many of the surrounding islands. Built above Clarke Rock, the property is on two levels, with the driveway, the main entrance hall, and the greater part of the accommodation and facilities – including the appealing oval swimming pool – on the upper floor to benefit from the always very welcome breeze.

The primary feature of the upper level is the spacious and beautifully furnished Great Room. Like most of the rooms in the villa this has a high, vaulted ceiling with attractive exposed wooden beams, and with direct access to the pool area through generous patio doors and that wonderful view out over the ocean. Naturally divided into four parts, the casually elegant Great Room has a TV area with several top-quality sofas and armchairs, another area – again with thickly cushioned sofas and chairs – for relaxing and reading, and toward the rear both a large, glass-topped dining table and a very well equipped kitchen with all the amenities any enthusiastic cook might require.

Leading off from the Great Room are three of the four generously proportioned bedrooms. The master suite – with a king-size bed – has both a full en suite bathroom and sliding patio doors opening to a private balcony area. Further doors open to the main pool/deck area. The second and third bedrooms are on the other side of the Great Room, affording everyone plenty of privacy. Of these rooms the second, with a queen-sized bed, has sliding patio doors opening out to the pool/deck area. The third room, with twins, is located to the rear of the villa. Both of these bedrooms share a light and airy bathroom with a glass-block shower enclosure. All bedrooms have large closets, and are air-conditioned.

The pool is of a good size and is surrounded by a generously proportioned tiled deck area for sunbathing and relaxing. There are more than enough comfortably cushioned chaises lounges for all guests to socialise here, should they wish. To the rear of the pool/deck is a shaded dining area for morning coffee, alfresco meals, or perhaps evening cocktails.

The fourth bedroom – with both a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower enclosure – is situated on the lower of the property’s two levels. Bright and cheery, it’s essentially a self-contained guest suite with its own entirely separate entrance. It also has its own dining area and kitchenette, and as a result is perfect for grandparents, or perhaps a fourth couple seeking a little more privacy. Like the other three bedrooms, it is air-conditioned. Beneath this suite’s covered entrance is a patio table and chairs, surrounded by strikingly coloured bougainvillea and other tropical flowers.

Guests of Euphoria are, of course, welcome to use the shops, restaurants and bars at Leverick Bay Resort, which is an easy five-minute walk from the villa. There is also a swimming pool here, and both a pleasant, sandy beach and tennis court. Watersports equipment can be hired at the marina.
