An entertainment centre with books, games, CD/Tape stereo system, a VCR and satellite TV are just some of the amenities provided at the villa. Dine in the formal dining area in the Great Room or alfresco on the adjoining poolside covered patio. The fully-equipped kitchen with centre island bar completes the Great Room. Caribbean Wind includes four lovely, spacious, air conditioned bedrooms, each with private baths and patios. The master suite, adjacent to the Great Room can be accessed from the pool patio. The twin bedroom can be accessed from the master suite or the patio, making it perfect for young children. |

Trudi's personal opinion Caribbean Wind is perfectly positioned within steps of the pristine beach at Mahoe Bay, Virgin Gorda. The villa offers spacious accommodation with four large bedrooms located in two separate pavilions. Caribbean Wind is ideal for families with children of all ages as one of the bedroom pavilions offers two bedrooms with connecting doors. A second pavilion, with two king bedroom suites offers privacy for couples or extended family members. A third pavilion between the two bedroom pavilions houses a well-equipped kitchen, living and dining areas and is set in mature gardens with flowering tropical plants and palms. I especially liked the location of the property with its own private path down to the white sands and turquoise waters where good swimming and snorkeling can be enjoyed by all. Caribbean Wind is a perfect villa to unwind yet still within an easy drive of The Baths, Spanish Town and Leverick Bay for watersports. |

Reviews of Caribbean Wind All your arrangements worked out great. The house was quite nice and as advertised. Velma was a wonderful housekeeper. The car was there and ready to go when we got to the airport in VG. Leticia showed up right away and got us out to the house. Flying with Fly BVI worked out just like you would hope. The VG airport is a little exciting but our pilots both coming and going were very experienced and the propellers kept turning so it all worked out. Our two favorite things about VG were the people and the weather. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. While it was still clear whose Island it is, we talked to lots of friendly people. Having traveled some in other parts of the Caribbean I can tell you that is not always the case. The weather was pretty much perfect which is always nice. We visited many of the spots on the island for tourists including the Baths, the National Park (climbed the Mt.), North Sound and thought we saw a pretty good cross section. We worked our way around the food and managed to eat pretty well. We are pretty resourceful when it comes to that stuff. We even got a guy on his bike to lead us to the M&M Bakery but it was closed. We did get a little bug bitten but we know the deal on that. The snorkeling was a little stirred up but we knew that going in as well. We were pretty happy to read and play games by the pool and listen to the surf. All in all, it was a nice relaxing time and we were glad we went… Thanks for all the help. RM, Jan 2011 |
