Inside, the centrepiece of the property is the Great Room, with its dramatically vaulted ceiling and large sliding glass doors leading out to the west-facing covered verandah, with panoramic views out over the palm-lined Mahoe Bay below and the ocean beyond. This area of the villa, with its own table and chairs, is ideal for al fresco dining, and also for watching the island's exquisite sunsets. The Great Room ingeniously combines an informal living area with a formal dining area with a table and chairs to seat 10 guests, and is equipped throughout with comfortable, high-end designer furnishings. Virgin Gorda itself is so small that all of the island's beaches are within easy driving distance. The famous Baths - huge granite boulders providing grottos and pools that you can walk through and explore, eventually coming to the idyllic Devil's Bay - is just 15 minutes away by car. Mahoe Bay itself has a gently sloping beach, and so offers safe swimming for children, as well as easy snorkeling for the slightly more adventurous.
